Acro-Yoga Workshop February 16th | 11:30a Raleigh Beer Garden $12.00 Acro-yoga is a fun way to balance and support your friends, family, and even strangers. Come play with us as we show you how to lift others up and give the gift of flight! We will be playing with a few different poses and learning how to move between them gracefully. Your instructor for the acro-yoga portion will be Matt Berno, the main teacher and organizer for the Raleigh acro-yoga community. Matt teaches regular acro classes in Raleigh and travels to teach and play around the US and Canada. His biggest focuses are building a safe and inclusive environment so people of all backgrounds and ability levels can develop as much love for acro as he has and spread it throughout the community.
Beginning at 11:30a, Paula Fraschetti will be leading the group in a warm-up series before transitioning into our acro workshop. We will focus on heart openers, hip openers, and setting the tone for our workshop to follow. The acro portion of class will begin at 12:00p and end around 1:30p. This workshop is accessible to all levels of yoga no matter your expertise and experience!
We will be meeting at the Raleigh Beer Garden Sunday morning. Parking is free on the weekends, and we will be in the insulated tent in the back of the garden. Once you arrive on site, walk all the way to the back of the building and straight through the gate. You won't miss the tent!
